The Revolusionist-A fairy tale

I woke up feeling quite romantic, so I decided to get married.
After breakfast I concequently strolled down to the church and asked the vicar to give me his blessing.
Well, dear child...the Vicar said. Who is it you wish to marry then?
-"No-one" I told him, "I have been asexual all my life".
I'm afraid I cannot give you my blessing if you don't have anyone to marry, the Vicar told me, looking rather confused. It takes two to marry and always will!
This ignorance upset me to tears.
You Monster, I cried. You narrow- minded conservative Tail from the Crypt! All my life I have had to fight for my rights, all my life I have had to struggle! Are we not people too? Don't we have feelings and should we not have the right to marry in church just because we are different?

And with these words I proudly marched out of the church. Unmarried and ready to start a new unnecessary revolution!
